On 24-28, Nov 2021 our organizers implemented 5 days of English Learning Teaching (ELT) Intensive Training at Darah Learning Center (DLC) School located in Mawlamyine.

Our student organizer provided 5 days of training concerning DLC needed and DLC future development. According to the DLC school needs assessment interview results, the CD group such as curriculum development and Advanced English TOT.

By providing English Learning Teaching (ELT) Intensive Training, DLC teachers learnt about the importance of (CEFR) framework, which can be used to update the lesson curriculum and lesson plan then to measure students' skill levels as well. The teachers learnt how to apply their learning to their lesson plan by using lesson framework approach teaching method, eliciting method, including competency skills by giving clear context lesson information to the students and using supplementary teaching method in the class.

DLC teachers also will now be more confident to provide their skills to the students and English learner to get opportunities for further study and international examination skills such as IELTS Advance English level.

We would like to thank the trainer Wai Mar Phyo and Mobile Education Partnerships for their support in implementing this project.
