STUDENT PROJECTS
Every year, the students write proposals for and implement a number of development projects in local communities. In past years, students have managed the completion of boarding house dormitories, fences and roofs, arranged jewelry-making training and financial literacy training and much more. These projects and training were arranged in cooperation with Room to Grow and Khom Loy.
WH moved to Myanmar in December 2017 and have begun new academic year in January 2018. During the academic year student have managed to complete the number projects by cooperation with Helvetas, Danish Church Aid, Mote Oo, The Pocatepetl Trust and Child's Dream.
English Learning Teaching (ELT) Intensive Training
Goal
● To equip DLC Teachers with the modern English Teaching techniques, lesson planning is easy to write.
● To be able to develop their own school curriculum by themselves in the long term by providing 5 days of the English Language Teaching (ELT) Intensive Training to the 4 teachers, 3 volunteers at Dahrah Learning Center in Mawlamyine, Mon State.
