In 2021 academic year, the Drainage project supported by Wide Horizons was implemented at the Wide Horizons community in November 12, 2021. Organizers have provided a strong drainage behind the boys’ dorm at Wide Horizons. Even though we have some challenges, during one day; we implemented successfully with 99%. The drainage was 1.5 feet depth, 2 feet width and 41 feet length behind the boys’ dorm with strong materials such as cement, bricks, hard sand and stone.

In addition, the organizers were very satisfied with the drainage's strong design. Both organizers and all participants believe that the water will flow directly along the drainage so that the water cannot seep inside the boys’ dorm even if it is raining and Wide Horizons students believe that the project will be sustainable for every year. Next academic year, students will be able to sleep well in their own bed without worry for their materials to be wet and moldy.
