WH organizers conducted WASH training in a learning centre in Mawlamyine, Participants were youth (29 Male, 30 Female, Total 59). Most are students and come from around Mawlamyine and are ethnically Mon & Burmese between the ages of 12 and 26.

Before the training, the participants didn't know about the WASH and its meaning. Moreover, they did not know how to make hand gel. Through the training, the participants learnt the meaning of WASH and personal hygiene, access to get clean water, making homemade hand gel and filtering water.

In addition, the WASH group manufactured and deliver T-Shirt and Water Bottles and posted a video on Facebook to celebrate World Handwashing Day 2021.

In addition, the organizers updated and improved the 2020 WASH need assessment report and revisited participants to understand the impact of Peer Education Knowledge Sharing at village level.
